New Planet
Kronos Discovered!
The small world of TimeHunt's resident astronomer,
Daniel Kodicek, was rocked to the core today with
NASA's official announcement of a long sought-after
planet hailed as "Kronos". "It's
driving me insane, insane!" exclaimed angst-riddled
Danny as the news was reported through the BBC.
When asked directly for comment, upset Kodicek
was heard to exclaim "20122 21112 13010 00004
12003 40243 33121 31301 00!!!" Naturally,
TimeHunters hiding in his bedroom quickly raced
to the computer to determine if this might be
a Hint.
When Danny was pushed for clarification, the story
began to unfold. First hinted at in eclectic texts
written by Divine Chameleon Michael Poverus, Kronos
was finally discovered by Mr. Kodicek, orbitting
a wormhole at the center of the constellation
Lepus. If you can't visualize the constellation
in your mind's-eye, you're not alone - only Danny
has ever been able to draw this finicky stellar
beast with enough accuracy to pinpoint the planet's
location. Now, with this premature announcement
of his planet, Kodicek has been frantically scrambling
to retool the last three pages on TimeHunt, a
mere 8 years away from discovery by the players,
muttering about his "Big Surprise" being
ruined.
The mystical world is also reeling in the wake
of this discovery. "Why, the mere existence
of this planet completely contradicts Qabalistic
teaching!" renowned Qabbalist Vladislov Zadrobilek
exclaimed, "Fortunately, I can account for
it in my latest construct, the "Hypercube
of Space"! Startled at his own statement,
Zadrobilek shot a worried look toward Mr. Kodicek
and quickly changed the subject to the intricacies
of knitting sweaters.
Researching the history of this discovery, Norse
GuysGuise correspondent Amesjay Hauseningray has
found evidence that Kodicek has secretly been
using the TimeHunt front to develop a secret ThinkTank.
Although the exact details of Danny's game are
fuzzy at this stage, the evidence suggests that
Danny's attempting to create life on Kronos in
his own image. Mr. Kodicek refused to comment,
stating that he will not entertain the ideas of
"insubstantiated rumors" founded by
"dubious leaps of logic". As expected,
TimeHunters leapt on these statements to determine
if this might be a Hint.
Neither Michael Poverus nor the residents of Venus,
TX could not be reached for comment.
