Greg the Bunny

Alright.  We can understand the popularity of the Muppets in their time.  It was back in the 1970's that the Muppets soared to new heights with their messages of love and honor.  Let's go back through some of those times.

Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy -- pioneers in their own right (they were one of the first interracial couples on prime time TV), they showed the world how to truly love.

Gonzo -- a beacon for the mentally challenged people, and a role model for thousands of schitzophrenics/closet homosexuals who needed a voice.

Fozzie Bear -- the everyman.  The lessons taught by Fozzie about making mistakes and admitting to them provided children across the world with the knowledge that no one is perfect.  Also inspired John Goodman's 'Dan Connor' character on TV's 'Roseanne'.

John Denver -- ok, so maybe technically he wasn't a Muppet.  But he gets the honorable mention for his work with Rowlf the Dog on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

"The Rainbow Connection" -- Paul Williams' touching tribute to life, as heard in The Muppet Movie.  Who would have thought, now more than 20 years later, Paul Williams would put his body through hell with drugs and alcohol abuse?  Not us.  We're still hoping that Paul finds a different "Rainbow Connection."

Fraggle Rock -- oops, sorry, that was a mistake.  What the hell are we thinking?

Anyway, Greg the Bunny can be seen on the FOX network.
